Dodge Dart

I have a 1974 Dodge Dart.  Its been giving me carburetor trouble lately so I swapped the carb yesterday for an older one.  After I put the new (old) one on it had a slight hesitation on acceleration.  I took the main jet out of the original carb to see what size it is.  It has a 63 jet size and the older carb has a 55.  I put in the 63 jet and the hesitation went away.  Now the car runs well.
